Plastic Surgery is particulary important, drawing on the collaboration of the best Italian and foreign specialists in the field.
Orthopaedic Surgery and Infant Orthopaedic Surgery for disabled people is also highly developed. This unit takes care of all particular pathologies, both traumatic and non traumatic, and has a well equipped section for the treatment of prothesis surgery.
The possibility of early diagnosis, associated with surgical treatment and rehabilitating treatment as appropriate, has opened new perspectives in the treatment of cerebropaties and myopathies.
Specialists work in the two emerging fields of hip prothesis and foot surgery. The Clinic has a highly specialised unit that can offer a surgical treatment associated with facilities for rehabilitation as required.
Oculistic Surgery has a team of excellent specialists and is equipped with highly technological modern instruments for the treatment of cataract, myopia, presbyopia, glaucoma and all other pathologies of the retina.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology operate a "Womens' Programme", staffed by specialists and university professors. The programme offers prevention and personalised treatment for different ages, and provides for the control of fertility, infertility and sterility of the couple. Sexuality, psychosomatic gynaecology, and physiopathology of the reproductive system as a whole are also covered. Within this there is also a programme of qualified service in marriage guidance, eugenics, hereditary diseases, pre-conceptional and pre-natal medicine, biochemical and electronic monitoring of pregnancy.
The specialised "Contemporary Global Screening" service is designed for the prevention and early diagnosis of female genital and breast tumours, with the direct collaboration of the mammographist. Complex and integrated treatments of malignant tumours are also practised.
Modern gynaecological endocrinology and prevention and treatment of menopause, post-menopause, and  geriatric gynaecology are dealt with by expert specialists.
Neurology and Neuropsychiatry deal with the nervous system diseases, both in adult and older people.
